Fast Forward to Spring

We had one of those winters that was best to just skip over. It was long. Very, very long. It seemed colder than normal and the boys were sick. Let me rephrase that, they were sick the ENTIRE winter. After many doctors visits, and many more cold sleepless nights, both boys had surgery in March to remove tonsils, adenoids and have tubes put in their ears.

So March brought slightly (oh so slightly) warmer weather and the boys got on the fast track to health. Since then things have been so much better and, as always, we have been keeping busy.

Jack has been going to preschool two mornings a week and loving it. He has learned so many new things and has made a ton of friends. Joey's been making his way through his "firsts" in record speed. He is talking (favorite things to say: Daddy, Zo & Sit Down), getting teeth in faster than I can keep track and is now walking around like he has been doing it forever. They are still working on playing nice together (this is a tough one for Jack who is unsure why we have to keep Joey let alone share toys with him) but I am starting to see some brotherly love shine through.

We have a busy summer planned, so stay tuned. I will do my best to update you. The boys are growing like weeds (and in Joey's case VERY LARGE weeds) so I will try to put pictures up more often.

In the meantime, happy summer!

Winter '08

It was a busy fall and we were quickly thrown full force into winter. The boys are growing like crazy. Jack is in pre-school two half-days a week and seems to have finally adjusted to the new routine. Joey is getting so big and spends most of his time getting bigger or trying to crawl. He seems content to scoot for the time being.

We are looking forward to the new year. We have lots to be thankful for and can't wait for all the babies we are going to be welcoming this winter and spring. Through our family & friends we are averaging a baby a month! Very exciting. We are excited about the boys' upcoming birthdays and Jay & I are hoping to get away for a weekend soon as well! We stay busy!

We hope you all had a Happy Holiday and we are wishing everyone a Happy 2009!
